Kenanga Wholesale City, on Jalan Kenanga in the Pudu area of Kuala Lumpur, opened in 2011 as Malaysia's first vertical fashion wholesale mall. Rising about 22 storeys with around 46,000 square meters of net lettable space, it houses hundreds of fashion wholesale shops and draws buyers from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and the Middle East, who source goods for resale in their home markets.
The mall focuses on men's and women's fashion, modest Muslim wear, shoes, bags, accessories, gifts and lifestyle products at trade prices for bulk purchases. For Chinese exporters of apparel, accessories and footwear, it is a representative wholesale venue for entering Peninsular Malaysia's distribution channels and meeting regional re-export buyers who resell across Southeast Asia. The mall is air-conditioned and organized by floor for easier sourcing.
