Dragonul Roșu is a large wholesale trade complex in the Dobroești commune on Bucharest's eastern outskirts. According to its operator it offers more than 4,500 commercial units, making it Romania's most concentrated hub for Chinese goods. It deals in clothing, footwear, cosmetics, toys, electronics and general merchandise, operating mainly on a cash-and-carry wholesale-and-retail basis. It centres on wholesale of imported Chinese daily goods, clothing, toys and small electronics at competitive prices. Chinese light-industry, general-merchandise, gift and small-electronics producers can deal directly with Romanian and Balkan importers, wholesalers and chain grocery buyers.
