The Blok 70 Chinese Market, known locally as Kinezi, is a Chinese-goods wholesale centre on Jurija Gagarina in New Belgrade's Block 70, run by Chinese merchants. Its trading area is said to exceed 10,000 square metres (the exact figure is unconfirmed), and it is the most concentrated hub for Chinese goods in Serbia and the Western Balkans. Its long-established merchant community gives suppliers a ready-made route into the local import trade.
It centres on wholesale of clothing, general merchandise, gifts and stationery, and small electronics, with a dense Chinese trader base and low prices. Chinese light-industry, apparel and general-grocery producers can use Belgrade to reach Serbia, the former Yugoslav region and the wider Balkans re-export market. Its central location and established reputation make it a natural entry point for suppliers new to the Western Balkans.
