Once Wholesale District (Barrio Once)

Barrio Once, west of downtown Buenos Aires, is Argentina's largest textile and apparel wholesale district. Centred on Avenida Pueyrredón, Avenida Corrientes, Calle Lavalle and Calle Ecuador, it concentrates hundreds of clothing wholesalers selling women's, men's and children's wear, footwear and accessories. Wholesale hours run Monday to Friday 8:00–17:00, and resellers from all over Argentina travel here to check new collections and restock, a trade built over decades by immigrant merchant communities.

Once is the country's primary wholesale node for apparel and footwear, with adjacent electronics and general-merchandise wholesalers supplying second-tier retailers and online sellers nationwide. Chinese exporters of garments, shoes and small appliances can approach it as Argentina's most direct reseller market. Because Argentina's foreign-exchange and import-tariff regime fluctuates frequently, business visitors should verify current customs, licensing and payment conditions on the ground before committing to orders.
