Poligono Industrial Cobo Calleja

Cobo Calleja is an industrial estate in Fuenlabrada, south of Madrid, widely regarded as Europe's largest Chinese-run wholesale trading park. It covers about 162 hectares and hosts several thousand wholesale businesses, mostly Chinese-owned, though figures vary by source and the exact number has yet to be confirmed. It trades in apparel, bags and shoes, electronics, daily goods and gifts, mostly imported from China and distributed across Spain and the rest of Europe.

The estate wholesales apparel, daily-use goods, small electronics and novelties to dollar stores, discount shops and second-tier wholesalers throughout Spain. For Chinese export manufacturers, it is one of the clearest places to meet Chinese-community importers in Europe and to test the low-price general-merchandise channel. Since most merchandise originates from China, suppliers can compare their own products against the exact imports already on European shelves and identify price gaps, while meeting many young Chinese-European traders setting up their first distribution business.
