How should I confirm voltage and electrical standards when exporting a packaging machine?
Before placing an order, specify the destination country’s voltage, frequency, plug configuration, and the electrical and safety requirements applicable to the project. Do not simply state “according to local standards.” Put the input voltage, frequency, control voltage, major electrical component specifications, plug or wiring configuration, and nameplate language into the technical agreement. For export projects, also ask the supplier whether additional guarding, warning labels, or technical documentation are required. Reconfirm the final configuration before factory testing to avoid discovering an electrical mismatch after delivery.
