Which parts may need to be changed when the packaging film width changes?
• Replace the former/bag-maker sized to the new film width, tolerance ±1 mm.
• Change or adjust film shaft, nip rollers and guide rollers to keep the web centered.
• Replace longitudinal and transverse heat-seal jaws so seal width covers the new film.
• Reset film tension and registration eye-mark sensor position for synchronized pulling and cutting.
• If width deviation is large, change pull belts/servo grippers and re-program PLC parameters.
