Does a slicer need automatic slice counting?
Automatic slice counting pays off when slices are sold by count or packed to a fixed quantity. Establish how the counter detects each slice and how it handles two slices stuck together, then run your own product continuously and compare the preset count with the actual one. If a packaging machine follows, verify that the counting signal keeps pace with its cycle and that no backlog forms at higher slicing speeds. Before bulk ordering, attach the approved results from real product runs to the PO, list spare-part numbers for later verification, and revisit them at the annual service check.
