Must a slicer stop when its safety guard is opened?
Where a guard covers the blade zone, verify before purchase that opening it triggers a safe stop, and check whether restarting requires a manual reset. A single open-and-stop demo proves little: test if the machine can be restarted while the guard is open. On auto-feed models, confirm the blade and feed drive cut out together. Log each guard position's result, track interlock and reset behaviour against continuous runtime, and repeat the same checks at export handover.
