Keep watt density moderate to low so sheath temperature stays down and corrosion is not accelerated. Match tube diameter, power, wiring method and seals such as PTFE or FKM to the fluid, avoid crevices and trapped liquid during installation, prevent local overheating and dry firing through temperature control, and choose IP65 or higher for washdown areas. Verify by immersion or live test in the real medium, retain samples for comparison, and ask the supplier for reference cases in similar duty.
