The Guro Machinery and Tool Wholesale Complex is on Gurojungang-ro in Seoul's Guro-gu. Completed in 1981 on a site of roughly 22,000 pyeong, it is Korea's largest specialised industrial-supply wholesale mall, hosting about 1,700 tenant businesses and around 50,000 industrial product lines, including machine tools, power tools, pneumatics and hydraulics, fasteners and safety supplies. It operates primarily on a business-to-business basis, supplying manufacturers and engineering buyers nationwide.
The complex wholesales machine tools, power tools, pneumatic and hydraulic components, cutting tools, fasteners and industrial safety supplies to Korean manufacturers, repair shops and exporters, and many tenants run their own import businesses. For Chinese hardware-tool and machinery-parts makers, it is a concentrated platform for entering Korea's industrial-supply channel in volume, where buyers compare price, durability and brand certification on the spot.
