Do I need a high-power meat grinder if I only use it two hours a day?
Grinding a heavy batch to a fine texture while switching materials often can justify more horsepower even within two daily hours, whereas a few kilos per run at a coarse setting makes a smaller unit the better buy. Give the supplier your batch weight, acceptable cycle time and changeover count so the machine is sized for the whole working cycle, not just the motor rating. After delivery, run one full cycle with production material and verify stable granulation, normal temperature rise and no clogging before freezing that configuration for repeat orders.
