How should the real slices-per-minute capacity of a slicer be measured?
Real capacity depends on the time for one complete cycle—feeding, cutting, discharge and reloading—so blade RPM alone overstates throughput. Have the supplier run your actual product at the target thickness and count usable slices or net weight; on automatic feeders, reloading downtime must be included. Average several stable cycles, then freeze those test conditions in the acceptance documents. On delivery, simply repeat the same product and thickness and compare cycle-time deviation.
