Does a slicer need calibration after blade replacement?

Recalibration is necessary after a blade change, since even a slight shift in blade seating, thickness datum, or the pressure assembly can throw slice thickness off. Ask the manufacturer for the post-change calibration procedure and the gauges it calls for, then run a safety check with the machine empty and verify thickness and slice shape using a standard product. Identical models should share one calibration method. Log each blade's edge condition, mounting, and calibration result alongside actual running hours, and recheck calibration before every batch order.
