How should turntable underside cleaning be evaluated when buying a rotating clay-pot cooker?

Before committing, check whether the turntable underside can be opened for inspection without dismantling the drive gearbox. With the pot ring or drip tray removed, condensate oil, stray rice grains, wash water and the drive guard should all be visible and wipeable in one pass; a fully sealed, unviewable cavity will trap debris and should be rejected. Run several claypot rice cycles at real pace, then pull the base while still hot and see whether oil pools around the bearing housing and whether grains flush out with water. If every peak shift demands a wrench to reach the shaft, cleaning labour is too high and the specification needs rework.
