How should basket cleaning be evaluated when buying a lifting noodle cooker?
Don't judge basket cleaning by glossy brochures. Check hole diameter consistency, weld quality for trapped slag or crevices, and whether starch hides where the handle meets the mesh. Before delivery, run the machine through a normal noodle shift, then clean the basket per your standard procedure and inspect the inside of the holes and welds for visible starch residue; a tacky feel means it fails. A shiny stainless surface does not prove clean perforations, and trapped starch will gelatinize during long service, slowing noodle release. Insist on washing, dismantling and judging on the spot during acceptance.
