How should ignition system be evaluated when buying a rotating clay-pot cooker?

Do not judge ignition on the spec sheet alone. First count the burner positions, the rated ignition frequency per position and the gas pressure range, then check whether flame-failure protection, thermocouple or ionization sensing, fan interlock and over-temperature cut-off are wired independently at every burner. On arrival, fire a cold unit thirty times in a row and log first-try success and intervals, then kill the flame deliberately to see whether reignition purges before sparking. Fast ignition is no substitute for safe interlock. For claypot rice, bring real pots to acceptance and compare time-to-crust across burners, photographing gas pressure and valve positions for later calibration.
