Is a higher motor power always better when buying a meat grinder?

More power is not automatically better. Size the motor to auger diameter, plate hole and blade resistance, meat hardness (including frozen share) and your hourly output: undersized units overheat and trip under sustained load, while oversized ones raise energy use, purchase cost and start-up shock. Compare rated current, continuous output curves and overload or stall protection, then trial the machine with your own raw material while logging current, temperature rise and the point at which protection trips. Before bulk ordering, put acceptable current, temperature limits and throughput for that duty into the contract annex, and verify stability on arrival with a sustained run against worn-plate conditions.
