Can lamb rolls and beef rolls use the same slicer?
Sharing one slicer is feasible only if both rolled meats fall within the same adjustable window for diameter, core temperature, fat content, and target slice thickness. List the actual freezing temperature, roll size, and thickness for lamb and beef separately, then have the supplier trial-slice both. If stable output comes from parameter changes alone, commonality is good; frequent mechanical swaps mean changeover time and spare-part cost must enter the decision. Afterward, clean the blade and feed path and check fat or debris carryover before freezing the final specification for annual review.
