To size the motor on an automatic cooking wok, start from the heaviest batch you actually plan to toss, estimate the stirring torque it demands, then check whether the drive can break away a fully loaded pan from standstill; a nameplate kilowatt figure alone tells you little. Before shipment, run that batch and log running current and casing temperature rise, confirming both stay within limits while the wok keeps speed through back-to-back orders. A motor matched only on nominal rating may cook fine light but bog down at peak service.
