How should continuous temperature drop be evaluated when buying a lifting noodle cooker?
Assess continuous temperature drop under real conditions, not a single-pot boil. Load cold noodles at peak batch intervals with the lid opened repeatedly, then log the lowest temperature after each basket enters and the seconds needed to return to a boil; exceeding the agreed recovery time fails the test. State starting water temperature, batch weight and interval in the purchase order, and retest the same way on arrival. Also check the lifting stroke and basket drainage speed, since sluggish draining keeps noodles in the water and drags heat down, mimicking a weak heating element.
